​COVID-19 UPDATE - 28 April 2021
We are now able to have classes outside!  Mondays will be at Blenheim High School on Longmead Road, starting at 6.30pm for now.  Currently, spaces are limited and you must book in advance and not just turn up.  Hopefully there will soon be a change to the limited numbers.  We should be able to recommence Thursday classes indoors from week commencing 17 May 2021, but please do keep an eye out for the updated guidance.  I will keep you informed going as i know more.
If you think anyone you know might be interested in an online shimmy, please do also invite them to join us, it really doesn't matter where you are in the country, or indeed the world, during these unprecedented times.

​Zumba® is a group aerobic fitness programme inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to world music, including salsa, merengue and reggaeton, but we throw in some pop too!


Claro Fitness offers easy to follow Zumba® classes run by Claire, who has been licenced since 2012, and teaching since 2013.  Anybody is welcome and classes are suitable for all ages and abilities.


We incorporate fitness elements including cardio, muscle conditioning, bodyweight moves, balance and flexibility, all set to uplifting music. Treat yourself to a fantastic fitness class which is suitable for anyone. 


You can work at your own pace in a relaxed atmosphere, with the routines being energising and effective. 


Take an hour to yourself to let go, take a bit of time for yourself, or meet up and work out and have a giggle with friends.  


Find a way of exercising that  suits you, makes you happy, makes you smile and makes you look forward to it, and you will stay consistent.  You don't need to walk out of any exercise programme feeling broken and disheartened.


Studies have shown that you can burn between 400 and 1000 calories and can add up to 7000 steps to your daily step-count per class, and there are also many other benefits of dancing.  Read more here
